They are very good - nothing to worry about. She should really like it.

The guns are accurate, and have a plentiful aftermarket of parts, if you so desire.

Kinda gun related, buddy of mine put my rifle inside the outline of my state and lasered it into leather and put it on a hat for me.

I love mine. I also really like the blue/gold one.

Replacing the 22/45 guts with Volquartzen bits makes a night and day difference. Their pistol competition kit cost nearly what I paid for my gun, but man - it is awesome.

    I agree.

I have 2 Mark IIIs, and have re-gutted both of them. Such a sweet, crisp trigger release.

I figure she needs to shoot it "as is" for a while and see how it goes. When comparing my 9mm (SigP226 with a Romeo01 PRO) to my WWII vintage 1911, she was a big fan of the red dot. So that may be the first upgrade. I think plurpimpin is onto something with his suppressor too. Our range does suppressor sales where you can buy one and keep it in their vault for use at the range until your paperwork comes through.

    Sounds like a good plan.

Let her learn to work the stock trigger, get comfortable with it, then upgrade. She will understand and appreciate the upgrade at that point.

Also, the suppressor is a great idea. No noise. Much easier to concentrate the fundamentals.

Appreciate the offer of assistance, but think it might be more fun to dispose of it myself. :)

Suppressed 22 is so much fun. Hollywood quiet and never need ears. I highly recommend it!

I have the tandemkross blast pack in mine. Super crisp light trigger for only $80. I did the one without the new trigger shoe so I could keep my gold OEM one cause I’m vain like that. I’m really happy with it.

I also upgraded to the Williams firesight fiber optic sights because I had trouble picking up the black OEM front sight blade. It wasn’t unusable or anything. I just like the fiber optics much better.

It's just an airsoft, but as close as I'm gonna get to a 1911 anytime soon. Nice build quality though with a metal slide and frame, similar safeties, and a pretty good heft to it!20230113_215005.jpg

Mostly stock with a few minor mods.
Overwatch polydat trigger showed up last night. Got it installed this morning. Massive difference in feel from the stock PSA trigger. Distinct wall now and very little creep. Positive reset. I did the minus bar, 6lb spring, and improved safety plunger as well. Worth it.20230114_104658.jpg

Looking good! I am really holding back on buying the Tactical Pontoon trigger. Never installed an upgraded trigger on any of my pistols. I have only ever done the D-Spring on my M9 for a slightly lighter initial pull.
