Ordered a kidd charging handle, guide rod, and recoil spring kit for my 10/22. Hoping a fresh spring will fix my recent issues with my bolt not going fully into battery.

I have a 1301 Tactical and an A300 Ultima (for Waterfowl). While the 1301 is certainly more robust, to me, the A300 feels a bit softer shooting. I'm assuming the new A300 Patrol utilizes the same gas system as others in the same family line.

That could be because I'm generally layered up while duck hunting.

    Just my 2 cents.

Different gas on the new patrol...I believe it's a modified A400 gas system

    Ahhh. Thank you.

I do have an A400 in 20G. Another soft shooter and feels closer to my A300 than the 1301.

Just traded this g17 gen 3. Cost me $410 and I've owned it about 2 weeks haha. The red dot cost me $150 and is a pretty salty 407c v1.

For this gen 5 g17 fde, $150, and 50rd of 9mm. We both walked away happy. I already have a fancy g19 so didn't need a fancy g17 too.

I still got 2 gen 3 19's so don't kick me outta the club please! I wasn't a big fan of that slide on the g17 i traded. Only bought it b/c it was $410 and figured I could trade it into something else.

    I like my Gen5. I don't dislike my Gen4 either.

I will admit, I am not a huge fan of Gen3s.

I think the most appealing thing to me about my gen 3's is they were cheaper when the gen 4's came out. The finger grooves fit my hand well so it's not an issue to me.

My first glock was a 19 gen 3. After that I built a 23, 26, and 17 all on Gen 3 frames. My favorite slide was the Suarez International slides and Zev adjustable triggers. Since these, I have built a single custom 19 Gen 5 and a 20SF.G25-2.jpg G19-2.jpg G17-2.jpg

We took out the FN SLP and 1301 out last weekend and put them side by side I was not disappointed that the 1301 dumped all 6 rounds before the first shell hit the ground the SLP with the same amount of rounds was very very close dumping the rounds but not before the 1st one hit the ground.

Beretta uses the new BLINK gas operating system with a cross tube gas piston that allows for even faster cycling on the new 1301's

Does the patrol use the A300 system?

Not to get all hipster, but Suarez cut my G19 slide back in 2010 when 99% of the "tactical" space was poo-pooing the concept. Back then SI was one of the only schools running AK classes (using actual AK tactics instead of trying to get people to run AKs like ARs) and the SI forum was chock full of awesome folks like Tim from MAC, Jim Fuller, Sonny Puzikas, Ian McCollum, etc. as well as some odd birds like Karl Kasarda and Will Hayden of Red Jacket firearms infamy.

Yes, back in December. I traded my Benelli M4 (heavy SOB).

I didn’t like the M4 because of that reason.
