What have you bought in the last 48 hours gun related?

GSG 16? If so, I had one of those. Fun little gun for plinking. Required good ammo like CCI

 

Picked up one of these storage units to give a try.....

 

I got the GSG16 i guess unauthorized clone loads of fun to shoot and pretty damn accurate. There are a couple different GSG versions so I was wondering looks like fun!

 

So far I haven’t found any ammo it won’t eat. Lots of fun

 

New glass on the .280 and finally found some XP for the henry 30-30.

 

Nice! Yah that’s the plan fun little on that my son can try too. He still a little guy.

 

I have multiple of the MTM Case Guard version of that for work. I'm very much a fan.

 

I'm finding the MTM ones are much better in many ways from molding to wall thickness of each box..... These are good for other needs that don't require ammo

 

But what if you only keep like 5 bullets?

Swapped my Hogue Kingswood swell grips to some slim aggressive Magpul grips on my new to me Kimber Pro Carry.

Debating on keeping or selling them.
Anyone interested let me know and I can list them. Would like to find a local trade for some ammo but around here that’s kind of drying up it seems.

 

Picked up 2 more MPX magazines and 6 CMMG 22lr AR mags today despite not owning either gun yet.

Oregon’s trial challenging our new mag cap law/permit to purchase is scheduled for September. I’m hoping for the best but preparing for the worst.

 

My luck I’d stock up on the mags then they’d ban the gun

 

Right now there is only a standard capacity mag ban and a permit to purchase program on the table (which still super sucks). Odds are the county judge will stand his ground on it being unconstitutional because he had a very strong opinion about it but my bigger worry is when the attorney general fast tracks the appeal to the state supreme court. That'll be a total crap shoot.

But to be totally honest I've got 2 more guns I'm trying to buy before a final ruling on the permit to purchase program (which is currently enjoined) - a MPX and PTR 91. I have a sinking suspicion Oregon might try to follow the lead of WA and CA to pass an assault weapon ban in the next election and those are the last 2 "scary" guns I really want for the collection.

I don't want to end up in a weird limbo situation where they require a permit to purchase but the permits aren't available yet (state police fully admit aren't remotely prepared to issue them) and then an AWB makes it on the ballot while we don't have permits and then can't panic buy anything else.

 

Hopefully SCOTUS will hand them all their asses and tell them it’s all unconstitutional

 

Looks like the ATF pistol brace rule might be going our way
