I put mine together and put a couple hundred rounds through it and has been in the safe ever since.

Cheaper than LaRue, similar price point to BCM, BCM is generally a bit overgassed but the one upper I have is solid and has been beat pretty well and reliable...SOLGW has softer recoil impulse and is easier to run faster follow up shots

I haven't really tested the Larue as it's substantially heavier than both the others and I don't take it out often

I like that the owner of SOLGW will replace their rifle should it ever need to be replaced...BCM doesn't openly say they will

So quality wise the 3 are comparable just Larue has gone apeshit on their pricing glad I got one when I did

Thanks! This is kind of my mess around gun since it was so cheap. I think a Tactical Pontoon 4lb trigger is next.

    This

Plus not just all of the above, shoot out a barrel they got you. Wear out a bcg they got you. The warranty isn't just against mechanical effect they actually cover wear and tear

    https://www.instagram.com/reel/Cub-GJYsvKI/

On the actual performance side my 13.7 is surprisingly accurate sub moa with 77gr and lpvo at 100 like .750 moa could prob do better with a more magnified optic.
Gassing on it is really nice not crazy overgassed even with a can. It's a super soft shooter too.
The handguard locking system is incredibly stout as well.

While personal rankings are always subjective id put it above my BCM tbh. I don't have any Gucci tier stuff to compare too.

You'll need to check compatibility first, but I highly recommend the Magpul M-LOK forend. It's amazing how much difference it made on my 590A.

Also, this sidesaddle is a great combo with a top rail. There's even a space under the rail that makes it kind of possible to use the front bead sight even with something mounted.

I mis-counted the days and thought I wasn't going to be allowed to pick it up until 6PM tonight, but the 10-day clock ran out last night.

I will take a look at those. Can't go wrong with Magpul, I will have to check if 500 is compatible with 590 parts.

Sad trombone.... Got to the store 30 minutes before closing and they had a 3 hour wait for anyone to get service at the guns counter. Gotta go back Friday morning and probably pack a lunch, I had to wait over 3 hours to fill out the DOJ paperwork on the 18th because the store manager says he can't seem to get more than 1/3 of the staff to show up for work on any given day.

At least doing it early on Friday will give me time to also go get some ammo and a lane at the range after I get the gun clean assuming I even need to. The one I bought was the one in the display case since they only had one in inventory, it probably already had all of the shipping/storage oils cleaned off for display.

Picked up 5 more mags for the Shield Plus and 3 more for the 96. Living in Illinois I cannot stress enough the importance of buying mags when you can.

So many people forget that mags are considered a wear item and they may not be available when you need a replacement.
