How do you like the g45 I was just looking at one the other day the blue line pricing is very tempting

 

I just snagged one for my XDm elite

Went to install and realized it required an adapter plate

bought the plate. When it came in realized it needed the mounting screws to mount to the plate

bought an assortment of optics screws

stand by for final assembly. I’ll be nearly three weeks in to this whole ordeal by the time I get the damn thing installed

 

Background checks for ammo now in New York State with a $9.50 charge on every transaction
On the federal level this is illegal and our governor is being sued by many gun shop owners . No matter what state you live in get out and vote and keep these type of people out of office !

 

Took advantage of BA's sale...30% off any 14.5" or longer barrel AND get a free BCG. So picked up a 14.5" 308 barrel and a 18" 308 barrel. They will be sitting on the shelf for awhile but I do have an idea on the build for the 18" barrel. The 14.5" one....ill wait for black Friday to get a handguard for.

Also picked up 20 CETME and 20 G3 magazines. The g3 look brand new, the CETME ones are pretty good.

CT. I think you have to have a pistol permit to buy ammo there. Oh don't forget 10 Rd. Mags. So you gotta carry more than 2.

Just to clarify some of Californias laws, to buy ammunition each sale requires a background check. So if you buy ammo today you’ll also be required to have another background check if you buy some again tomorrow. You cannot buy ammo in another state and bring it into California legally. (Lots of Californians travel to Nevada and buy ammo but it is technically illegal to bring it across the state line into California). Nevada does not enforce California ammo laws (thank God) so they sell as much as you want to buy, they don’t care what state you are from. In addition to all the other taxes we have the governor just signed into law an additional sales tax of 11% on all gun, ammo and gun parts sales, effective starting August 2024. I assume there will be a surge in gun purchases as the date nears.
To buy a gun you have to take a firearm safety test and get 80% correct. If you pass you are issued a certificate good for 5 years. The max magazine capacity is 10 rounds in California.
That is just the tiniest tip of the California gun law iceberg. I am just stating facts, this is not political, just facts.

Picked up a new safe today. I’m sure someone will chastise me for getting a Liberty but I had abunch of bass pro gift cards from work so it only cost me $125 out of pocket. Not to mention if the FBI shows up at my house with a warrant I’ve got bigger problems.





Also picked up another spare AR lower and a few boxes of ammo.

Meh. The same people who complain about this kind of stuff probably also have hundreds of photos of their guns on the facebooks and instagrams

The safe is the Bass Pro store branded version of the liberty centurion.

I love these lowers too. It’s great not having to deal with trigger guard or bolt catch roll pins. I’ve got about 50/50 these and mil spec lowers (plus one billet one).

 

Aaaaaand none of the screws purchased fit. I think I need 6/32 that’s 8mm long. Why is everything so hard

 

That Winchester rebate offer was the best price 5.56 I have seen since 2019.
