My biggest asian stereotype is that I am an HK fanboy. But I blame that on growing up on rainbow six games.

 

This is true. The only HKs I see at my range are owned by Asians.

More mags and an ammo case for storage. I thought 6 wide would fill the case. My mild OCD forced me to order 4 more to even things out.

FYI - I'm from a state with not a lot of Asians, so I'm most likely ignorant/uninformed on this.

 

There are only two indoor ranges within driving distance of my house. One in Vacaville and one in Dublin.

Dublin is Asian.

Also I’m married into a big Chinese family.

Lol yes, if your asian and into guns theres a higher than normal probability you will be into HK guns and I don't know why.

Maybe its movies or the whole perception of german build quality or a money thing. They were one of the more expensive guns back in the day (90's-early 2000's) and alot of asian culture equates high cost with status.

I didnt know it was a thing until I started seeing more asian people get into shooting. My background is chinese and I started wondering why everyone is all rocking HKs and if I didnt get the memo at the last meeting.

My assortment of guns uses 4 different calibers, when a magazine comes into play, I have them marked with white fine tipped permanent marker to keep them straight. Now that is OCD!

So, This afternoon I get a call from the gun dept manager at Bass Pro asking me if I am going to pick up my firearm. I was like I didn't order/buy any firearm (Sig 365XL Macro Tacops) he said we have one here with your name on it you are Mr XXX I said yes, apparently @ 2:37 am last Sunday I did indeed buy a firearm and I can't confirm or deny if alcohol was involved. Bonus was Bass Pro had a promo where you get a $50 gift card and 3 extra 17 rd mags from Sig so a total of (7) 17 rd mags.....

 

Don't know what you paid, but with the $50 gift card and 3 extra mags, @$50 each, I'm saying you got a great deal.
