Heading out to shoot in Shelter Valley, Ca. tomorrow (Tuesday) Bought "TMC" ammo in .38 Special. My buddy who is partner in the private range is trying to conserve the metal targets already set up.
Learned something new? "TMJ" or "TMC" ammo is a different construction than "FMJ" and is supposed to not punch as big a hole in the target?
Had a heck of a time finding TMC .38 Special. Now searching around locally (San Diego) for TMC .223. I found TMC in .357, the bolt action I wanted to take shooting tomorrow is only .223
I'll just have to make do shooting my Citadel Levtac 92 Lever Action .38 Special and my Ruger SR 22 Semi Auto Pistol. Life is tough!
Used to be back in the day I could order ammo to be delivered. Not anymore in California. Now I can get delivery of pot, booze and "In Home Massage Specialists"

Bought a new Glock 17 gen 3 yesterday. Waiting 10 days (California) to pick it up. Going out tomorrow to replenish my 9mm ammo by a few thousand rounds.

Even worse, it's now only 1 firearm every 30 days. Before it was 1 handgun or semiauto centefire rifle every 30.

Seems to be very slow progress but the legal cases against CA gun laws are going in the right direction.

The California Rifle And Pistol Association has a number of suits pending that have traction and are waiting for higher courts to review including the US Supreme Court. What happened with SB2 was an unexpected setback but it is a temporary setback. It will be reviewed again by the 9th circuit court of appeals (the most overturned federal appeals court in the US) and likely by the Supreme Court.

It doesn’t mean anything to me specifically. I’m just saying. Temporary huh? Another 2 years? Another 5? 10?

It’s a cat and mouse game that will go on and on as long as the costal cities speak for ya’ll. imo anyways.

I truly would like to but for some of us it’s easier said than done, there are complications. . Believe me us California gun guys are envious of you who live in gun freedom friendly states.

I can only show up with 1 new gun every 30 days anyway or my wife has a fit. "Don't you remember this gun dear?" Doesn't cut it more than a couple of times.

A couple of rear window decals...
Most people don't buy more than a gun or two in a year let alone a month. But if my state was going to limit my purchase to one a month, I'd be sure to be at the gun store every month to get my one gun.

Replaced a couple of Trijicon MRO mounts with Scalarworks mounts. Heading to the range today to re-zero. Only have 25M indoors, but they can print targets with the 50M zero POA.

Put a Holosun on the kid's pistol. First experience with a red dot. I must say I was very surprised to see how much it improved the kid's accuracy. He shot better groups at 25 yrds than he had been at 10.

Also shot an apple. First with Blazer 9mm. Put a little bitty hole through it. Then with a Sig Sauer Elite Defense 124 gr hollow point. The apple disappeared, all that remained was pulp and juices. I must say I was very impressed.

    Same crap everyone else got
well my ffl is about to get 2 g45's and NFA lower for me this week. Rooftop had g45's (referbished with night sights, so I assume police trade ins) for $461 shipped so I bought 2....
NFA had a 25% off sale so I bought a new ar9 lower that takes mp5 mags. I'm going to pair that with a bufferless 9mm upper. Always hated the way glock mags looked in an ar9, so time to sell the old and start a new.

Pics to follow when its all here.

Cash doesn't change reporting requirements that he's discussing for FFLs

The 3310 form has to be filled out when 1 person buys more than 1 handgun within a certain number of days
