Ok gotcha, the spelling must of through me off. All I saw was the Graphite, I didn't connect it Rite Dye on either side of it with Rit Dye.

I did that with a P80 frame going from FDE to OD green. I thought it turned out pretty good.

I pass on anything thats main focus for marketing revolves around key words like "EXTREME" "MILITARY GRADE" and "CUTTING EDGE". Its not going to do anything that the tried and true stuff has been doing for 30+ years

 

My buddy who is an gunsmith used it on my Dagger when he installed my trigger. Haven't shot it yet, but he does a ton of shooting(he also runs a training business). I would assume if he had issues, he wouldn't be running it anymore.

I personally use Slip 2000 and Hopps.

 

I use Amsoil 20/50 Synthetic in a needle oiler tube

Also picked up some Safariland [357] speed strips. What a great simple idea!

 

Picked up a Springfield Ronin 5" 9mm last week. The last of the parts for it arrived Saturday & got a chance to go put some rounds through it. EGW full length guide rod & a hand full of springs, (seems to like the 11lb), Ed Brown arched mainspring housing & magwell, VZ Operator II palmswell grips, Safariland holster & 5 extra mags. I've had the chance to shoot some pretty nice 1911s, with a few parts and a little polishing this thing shoots as nice as some of those at 2-3 times the price.

 

Got mine last Wed. Couldn't wait and dropped it right on. Perfect fit. Plan is to get out this coming weekend to put some holes in paper.It may not be a Holosun 407, but it wasn't Holosun $$$. We'll see how it holds up. Reviews were good.

 

Herrington Arms Magwell is going back to Herrington Arms. It would not seat OEM Glock 19 magazines. It would seat the G19 Magpul magazines and my G19 magazine with +2 Herrington Arms Extension. I tried to sand down some of the "excess" injection model on the frame and still wouldn't work. They are going to take a look at the magwell and see whats up with it. There was definitely some binding as the OEM G19 magazine was wear away the cerakote on the magwell.

I think it's the best looking magwell. Hopefully it was a manufacturing defect and not my Dagger.

I had to do the same with the Holosun 507C ACSS. Mt astigmatism wouldn't work with it. Bummed me out, even with the green.
