Same I’m returning a 510c with green it just doesn’t work with my astigmatism either. However, it came to me from OP as what must have been a return as the battery was already installed and the tool to remove the battery tray was missing. It’s going back and I’ll get another prism

It wasn’t horrible for me outside just a slight duality but indoors was terrible. I wanted to try something different but back to prisms i go. I’ve had wonderful luck with my Swampfox Blades I think I’m going to try their new micro prism. It’s supposed to have a pretty long eye relief and you can use a magnifier with it if you choose. It’s available in green also

I'm hoping they will have them at shot show. I have the Swampfox blade on my AR pistol and it's nice. I have 2 Swampfox optics and they are nice.

Bought a Vortex Crossfire II(3x9x40 dead hold reticle)for the Cz and popped it on last night. Hit the range this morning to zero and test several ammo types in hopes I got a straight shooter..

Well I’m happy to report the rifle likes the least expensive cci standard lead round nose the best. I have a few other types(blazer lrn, thunderbolt) I hope will keep the clover that the cci made…IMG_1562.jpg IMG_1560.jpg

Lower left was best group at a 50yrd zero…

About one year ago. They only make one revolver. One with a birds head grip and one with a gunfighter grip

Colt H2 buffer (The unmarked PSA 2.93 Oz one is kicking pretty hard in my 18" mid-length with green tips... Gonna put the H2 buffer in my M4 and the 3.8 Oz Colt H in the 18")

+ some small Colt replacement parts while I'm eating the shipping just in case: gas rings, extractor pin etc

Also finally got around to ordering a new OWB holster from R.Grizzle Leather (17 week wait :(, but his stuff is the standard) [IMG]

Thoughts on the need for backup sights when using a prism optic? The prism has an etched reticle. This would be more for a home defense use

That's really a personal choice. For me if could see the reticle in low light or with the aid of a flashlight, I'd be fine with not adding an extra set of irons.

That’s kinda how I was thinking. I need glasses but not just wear readers and do fine. I shoot without glasses and can only use mechanical sights with glasses sometimes the glasses are something I’d have to keep on me just in case and idk how practical that is. Or I start wearing glasses all the time
