I don’t see how you couldn’t see it coming.

You have a governor of the blue variety.
which means she had a AG of like mind who see what states like CA are doing, and will shoot their shot until it it sticks. Fun thing about being the government is the endless tax money you can waste on doing that. It’s the contagion people have been warning the “not my state” people for over a decade about.

Gun control has never been about guns, it’s always about control. Anyone that thinks any law maker of any affiliation in the US doesn’t know that criminals break laws is completely ignorant.

The “laws” only affect the people willing to obey them.

Any admin getting mad at this, I get the no politics but guns and politics are synonymous, and that’s not my fault. I wish that wasn’t the case.

I'm not getting political with the Red vs Blue debate. Up until the unfortunate/tragic incident here last fall, our governor had been quite pro gun (or not anti) as much of the state is rural with strong hunting/shooting traditions. The law was passed with no Signature as the legislative vote was veto proof. A veto would still have been nice to see.

I could probably split this open scorched earth nuclear, but I’m not trying to go out of my way to bust your balls brother.

But I do have to say,

That’s like a wolf pledging to the sheep’s that it will be vegetarian, then the sheep being surprised when it doesn’t work out after the wolf gets a little hungry.

We all need a good ball busting from time to time. I'm not in disagreement with you. The general trend in this state over my adult years (or since I started paying attention to politics) has been very pro gun, regardless of who's in control. That was more of the point I was trying to make and did a poor job. But that is starting to slip as you're eluding to and this law demonstrates. That I also agree with.

Picked up 1k of 762x39 for not to terrible of a price.

Also ended up "acquiring" a 45acp AR from my father-in-law. Not really something I want but itll be here for him to shoot when they visit. Still trying to figure out exactly who made it but its at least a New Frontier lower and a side charging upper

Been looking real hard at an HK VP9 (like I need another 9). The sale price has me twitchin' @ $599. Anyone with some experience/insight? Never shot an HK, I know their rep is a step above supposedly.

Have a VP9 Tactical. Fantastic pistol love it. Finding great carry holsters is a challenge at times but can be found. Wife has a vp9SK also a great little pistol

Trigger is pretty good for polymer frame. Mag release takes some getting used to but overall love it and one of my favorites to shoot

Thanks for the input. They've got the 'B' model out now with the button release instead of the paddle. Interesting. Might be dipping my toes into some lite "comp" shooting soon. Timed steel plates at 10/20yds, 5 stations. Small group, should be fun. Great reason to shop at little I think!
