In the process of building an AR-22. The BoreBuddy nitride quiet bolt group, 7" barrel and reliability kit came in yesterday. Received the Aero M4E1 slick upper, 10" Atlas S-One handguard and Breach charging handle this afternoon. The M4E1 parts kit is arriving tomorrow and the M4E1 stripped lower is supposed to be delivered to my FFL on Saturday. Just waiting on my Rugged Oculus stamp to be approved and then I'll be good to go!

Lower finally picked up. Started putting it together but still missing pieces. I may try to grab a few more FCD dimpled things just for the hell of it.

Got notification that my charging handle, tube/spring/buffer, and trigger shipped today. G$ website said 4-6 weeks lead time so two-ish weeks isn't bad.

    Question for the masses…

Browsing the alphabets of pow pows.. thoughts on a CZ P10c, or a Canik SFX Rival? Both in the 9 mil flavor.

    Go.

I haven't met a bad CZ yet. Don't own any Caniks but have heard good things about them, particularly their triggers and price to value.

Mostly stock, just getting it to my liking, just happy to have had the taco and now my 4Runner.
Owned several from both camps, for comfort and reliability as perceived by me the canik would win hands down in almost all cases, but Cz has the p07 and p09 for the hammer fired polymer that I truly enjoy as well and come a close second to the caniks, so a bit of a toss up to who is running a sale at the time of purchase, either way you cannot go wrong.

    Right right.

Without posting a link to ‘em.. these are the two that I’m possibly looking at.

A little of this and a little of that.
I have been going to some State Trap shoots that are multiple days and wanted a good travel cleaning kit for my shotgun, aka the “Italian girlfriend”.
    Always impressed with Pro-Shot products.

If those were the 2 choices I had, the canik would win for me still. Not knocking the p10c in any way, but the optic is not the one I would choose, and the canik tics more boxes for me. Either one will serve you well in almost every regard.

Short answer is CZ, basing this on personal experience and longevity of the CZ brand. They've been around since the 1930s where as Canik has only been doing firearms for about 15 years. Also not sure how much Century Arms has to do Canik production (they are partners to an extent), but their QC has been notorious over the years.

Have you considered other similar options like the Walther PDPs? I saw @dand just got one. Nice out of the box triggers and better ergonomics, at least to my hand.

When it comes to life and liberty concerns I agree with @strider98 on this.

Regardless, good luck and happy shooting. :infantry:
