Vortex gives a decent discount to current/retired, LE and military. So if you or anyone you know is one they can sign up with vortex and get 3 or 4 products at the discount per year

Damn $2,100 is a steal,,, even used! I paid $2,200 for used, and that is (or was, I’m not current) a screamin’ deal.
I’m with you, I have some decent scopes, but when you look at how much more you can get if you nut up for nearly top tier scope, it’s worth the wait. Of course in only have a few, as to justify that outlay laying around, they need to get used often.

That’s said, to the folks that say they can’t justify,,, if you’re not using it often and/or to its ability, I think you’re on the right path. There’s plenty of decent to good scopes out there and price range increments in the $100 range.

Agreed, probably the most I’ve put into a scope and mount is $750. It works well for me but I can’t justify the added expense of top tier optics unless I could use it more or used it professionally. I shoot as much as I can but even that is limited and range is limited to under 300 yards.

Well let’s not get ahead of ourselves here. I’ve pushed vortex to a few people on here, and it’s not what you said, but to be clear I wouldn’t say even the razors are top tier….

the Razors are second tier at best. It’s just the price for taking the art seriously.

top tier would be like a ZCO, S&B, Tangent or Kahles etc

Take that $2000 and multiply it by about 2. Most people don’t “need that” unless you are seriously invested in the craft.

    I'm not mad at ya!
Carry always- I'd rather have a pocket pistol, than no pistol. There is a time and place for deep concealment,,, despite what the "I always carry a full size xyz" guys claim. I have a lil LCP 380 in my gym bag, and should something happen; it's my ticket out,,, hopefully.
