What's on the list for 2025?
I definitely want to add another suppressor, and pondering a 6 ARC in a bolt action for later in the year.

 

I’m looking at 3 suppressors .45 30 cal can and .556

 

New pistol light, Ebay and Olight running an end of year special saved me $20 bucks and free shipping on a new Valkyrie pl-3 for my new Springfield XDM Elite 3.8 full size, now to find a light bearing holster I like to go with it.

 

If you buy it in 2024 but it doesn't come into your possession until 2025 does that count too?

 

My Dad/Santa Was able to get me a 1971 Marlin Greenfeild 30-30.

A family friend bought it new in 71 and never fired it. Came with a real silver tipped bullet for werewolves n shit.
Can wait to run a box of rounds through this, I need to oil and clean it first. It's been sitting in a gun safe its whole life.

These types of lights are awesome EDC. I have the Olight Arkfield, and carry it every day. The slim pocket knife style is perfect for a small light.

I’m thinking a 14.5” BCM QRF upper. Lower pretty much built and doing some different stuff this time. I have questions.
1: I’ve built lower with a standard reciever extension and buffer, not carbine, will that work properly with a 14.5” barell mid length gas system ?
2: looking at a Huxwrx can for it BCM doesn’t offer that adapter pinned and welded can I order the upper with no muzzle device idk how that works with NFA as I will pin on the correct adapter

 

1. you might have to try a heavier buffer, but that's no big deal. If you are already ordering at your local shop, I would keep one handy anyways, it's nice to have a different weight while you are at the range, and they aren't expensive.
2. I have a Huxwrx Ventum 556, but haven't had it out yet. If they offer it without, yes should be good, so long as you don't attach the upper to a lower receiver,,, as far as I know. I have a 6.8SPC with a P&W 14.7" barrel I need to have the muzzle device removed and threaded brake added too for a suppressor, but need to figure out which suppressor.

The upper would have to be run as a ar pistol until the muzzle device is pinned and welded. After that then you can replace the brace with a stock. For the buffer if it’s a rifle length system you can probably run a springco I think green rifle spring and a H buffer. I would email BCM to see what they suggest. Their customer service is pretty good. I have a carbine buffer tube on my 14.5 BCM upper and I run a H buffer with standard carbine spring.
