I suggest thinking about any plumbing work you will have to do in the future before bolting down a safe right in front of it :(

That's something to consider. Though if you can open your safe, then unbolting and moving it are not impossible. It would just be a PITA, should it be installed in what is later determined to be a bad spot.

I got it at my local indoor shooting range they added it to their monthly order for me and I just had to wait on it. It's what they sell over the counter to customers for target shooting. It burns clean.

    All jokes aside ...

Do you regularly shoot that much inside of 6 months, or os that a supply for a long time so you do not have to bother again in a month? Having someplace to shoot that much that is close to me without paying the "range use fee" would be sweet.

It doesn't really matter how long it takes to shoot all that ammo, stored properly it doesn't go bad. But buying in bulk is almost always cheaper.

As one of the department range officers once said while complaining to staff when they ran out of ammo.

"Its not a damn sandwich, put In a bigger order. It will keep till next month!"

3rd time the range ran out of ammo during quals.

I have 6 acres and targets set up in the woods. Me and my Daughter will go through that in about 3 months and about 1K of 9mm. My Daughter is a Law Enforcement Officer. Her and Her LEO Friends come over here to keep in practice. One of them is a State LEO Range Instructor. They bring their own ammo.

Ya know, this kinda brings into perspective the industrial capacity of the USA. Since the 1940s we have been at war for 35+ years, and have supported the countless other wars. The fact that you can still find surplus ammo manufactured 75+ years ago is truly amazing! :oldglory::woot::infantry:

Our industrial capacity is amazing for sure. However, supporting countless other wars is a fight that we should not get involved in. Somehow, our gov seems it’s necessary to stick our nose in everyone else’s problems. Imagine how amazing we would be if we kept our resources to ourselves and only sent resources outward that would help others instead of harm.

America should not have a single homeless veteran while pro athletes are criminally, nauseatingly overpaid. Seriously. Zoom out and ask why you give a fuck about a bunch of grown ass men playing games? People lose massive sums of money, beat their spouses, lose careers in the name of sports they have zero impact over. It's a joke the country hasn't woken up and dedicated those funds elsewhere. Athletes should be paid the same as everyone else. They're not special at all. Not even a little bit. Take away what they do, send the money elsewhere, and Earth keeps on spinning, just for the better.

You’re talking about a matter of occupation and its value. A pro athlete, celebrity, musician, ceo, or whoever chooses their career. If they get away with crimes then our gov is to blame. If someone beats their wife then they are to blame. Don’t hate on someone because they make a lot of money. That’s capitalism at its best.
As for homeless vets, there are some cases where it’s sad but many are because they don’t choose to help themselves. I can’t speak for vets from the Vietnam era but for vets of my era (Iraq/afghanistan), there’s too many resources available to them to get them off the streets. I have little to no sympathy for them. Military personnel have tons of resources while in the military and while getting out to set themselves up for success. Let’s face it, the military didn’t draw most recruits from the top tier of society. Most people getting out of the military do so with no plan and ignore the resources available to them on their way out. They fuck themselves.

I’ve had this on order for about a month but it was handmade in Prague. Freaking mint craftsmanship. The Tikka can now wear a total of 16 extra rounds not including what’s in the mag.

My last couple of purchases...and two of them ended up being a bit of a pain

    Polish DPM Parts Kit
    Yugo M72 Parts Kit
Romanian md63 with barrel Parts Kit
    Hungarian AMD65 Parts Kit

The first two arrived as expect.

The Romanian m63 I did as a free layaway since it is a project im in no rush on anyways. Well I finished the payments and then waited. After a couple days I contacted the company and was told that all the kits were sold out currently. So apparently the layaway doesnt reverse an item or whatever for them.... Luckily they came back instock like a week later but was annoying to have basically just done a payment plan for store credit and not an actual item.

The Hungarian AMD65....nothing against older people but man i never have good experiences buying from them (online). Bought off a forum, guy only wants USPS Money Orders or personal checks. No problem on the personal check part for me...i keep an account just for that sort of thing. Guy says to allow up to two weeks to cash it and ship it. So i mail him off the check and ask him to let me know when he gets it. Close to 10 days go by without me hearing anything so I send him a message and get a "yes i got it on Tuesday"....mind you its Friday evening. Ok good...so i wait 14 days more and still nothing. Send him another message just saying Id noticed he hadnt cashed the check yet and wanted to make sure everything was still good. Next morning I wake up to an annoying message back from him basically asking why i was rushing him and he has a life and this is why he hates dealing with the younger generation blah blah blah. Was a long paragraph of him just complaining basically. I figured Id give it a day or two to cool down but luckily he cashed the check that day and then the next day I noticed an "inbound package" from his area had been added to my USPS...informed delivery thingy. Never heard from the guy again and luckily the packaged showed up as advertised so I just left it at that. But seriously....every online purchase from older people has been rough in someway (not just gun stuff). Not that I havent had issues with people my age but generally those go smoothly more than not. Complete opposite of in person where older guys are my favorite to buy from....usually good deals and good talk

    But aright..end of rant lol

First off brand Chinese scope I've ever bought.

Looks good but won't know how it performs till I get it out on the range.

She's a big ol girl though.
