I've been perpetually amazed at my Arken set up. Shoot my buddy's Nightforce occasionally but his scope cost twice what I paid for rifle, mags, bipod, scope, ammo, range fees. I'll admit his is better but I shoot it the same as I do mine so I'm hard pressed to say that it's THAT much better.

A more expensive nightforce isn’t going to make you a better shooter. If you’re not seeing a difference in shooting then it means you’re shooting with consistency. Which is cool.

The money in tier 1 scopes goes to the tracking, glass and glass coating/color. Clarity at higher magnification. Shit like that. In Nightforce case, they are typically over built, and can handle some abuse. The degree of which in all categories varying my model and price.

The Arkens are cool. I like DNT which are made by the same parent company. It’s basically a EP5 but without a retarded 1/2 mil subtensions that Arken uses but rather 2/10 mil like any normal scope that’s ment to be used.

@Casper66 got his in TMOA so probably not a problem regardless.

I can tell the image is clearer and the glass color is slightly different.
I might be able to tell a difference if the max range wasn't limited to 480 yards at our range. Maybe up to 500 / 600 yards there is no diff for me, but out to 800 that Nightforce would outshine the Arken - maybe hypothetically, possibly.

But then I'm not taking game at 800 yards soooo...

I've been using an Arken SH4J 6-24 for rimfire bench since last summer. More than happy with it. Can't be beat at that price point IMO. Several have bought one after checking mine out. I'll wager you'll like it!
