Its a tactical shotgun piece. Started out for door breach and an impaler for people faces.

There is one out there that I looked for but couldn't find. It cuts wire. That is the only one I would get, if I had a tactical shotgun.

    No experience with them though.

I imagine with the wire spread across that evenly, it would catch in the teeth and could be used to shoot the wire in two.

Nah, it has slots in it, with razor sharp cutting teeth, you twist your shotgun and it cuts the wire. It's pretty ingenious actually, they say you can cut a barb wire fence with a simple twist of the shotgun. :notsure:

Its definitely a badass idea but you have a point....have any countries used barbed wire in battle in the last 20 years?

Even if they did, would it matter? This is a dumb accessory. Period.

What if you used it to take down chainlink fence?

I can't imagine a scenario in which I would have a shotgun and need to get through a fence and that would be the best tool on me to accomplish such a task. Seems silly to me. The shit people want to stick to their firearms these days amazes me. Just because you can doesn't mean you should.

Man, it's been a while since I was on here. Hope everyone is well and enjoying the holidays.

I just picked up a new chrono, hand loading press, micrometer seating dies and a new scale so I can start developing loads at the range instead of pre-building strings before range days. Now, instead of having to plan ahead and make a 35-40 rounds that may or may not even work for me, I can just bring my range kit with me and do it that way instead.

OH! Also picked up a new spotting scope.

OH! And not exactly new, but new to me, are 8(EIGHT!) LE/Mil stamped HK416 mags that a friend who just retired from the Corps gave me. Damn things are like $75 each! Stoked.

    LOL

I agree. In theory, I like it. Would I put one on my gun, no.

Thanks for being honest of your opinions, gave me a laugh.

We do. I have laid at least 100 miles of that shit myself. A few years ago on Christmas eve of all days, my platoon had to remove four miles (not exaggerating) of triple strand concertina before we were allowed to sign out on leave and go see our families. I would have paid any price for a shotgun with a wire cutter on that day. Anyone who has spent time in a pickle suit is well aware of the annual exodus fuck fuck games. I don't miss that shit one bit. Well, maybe I miss the belt feds a little. :D

(not my pic, filched from google)

Indeed. I learned any ailment can be fixed with motrin and water.
