    Manners makes good stuff.

I bought a Volquartsen trigger, sear and hammer bushing for my 22/45. I also took Friday off and visited multiple gun stores looking for an 870 to start a project with.

They had an express model for $400 I almost bought. A dealer in KC just had a batch of Wingmaster police guns for $275 recently. I should have bought one. I really want a Wingmaster or police model.

    10 days... 240 hours
11 days is not legal unless 240 hours falls at a time when the FFL is closed.

You should be able to go in next Monday at the same time you signed the DROS and pick it up. The DOJ has "spanked" more than one FFL, including Turners, for this 11-day bullshit.
They do it primarily to simplify the "script" that the employee reads to the customer. If they tell you "10 days", they are afraid that you might come in at opening on the 10th day, when you can't legally pick up until the moment the paperwork was transmitted to the DOJ. They then have to send you away and you get pissed.
If they would simply write the pickup date and time on your receipt, everything would be golden.

Ya... 8:30 on Friday, they might close at 6 or 8 on Monday, so Tuesday would be the day.

17 hmr is a fun round, I have a cz in it. Almost bought the savage. The savages are very accurate by all accounts and lots of fun. Put a good scope on it and get some varmints

Don't underestimate a .17hmr. I've got several gold medal axis on the wall, along with a full curl ram, shot in lung at 102 yds. Hanging on the wall. It's a wicked little round, you won't be disappointed.

I visited Cabela's for shits and giggles to see how pathetic is was and they had plenty of 17 HMR ammo, but not a single box of 22.
