Bingo. I would definitely check Cabelas library out. In the last 2 weeks I found an M4 and a Sig 1911 for dirt cheap. The Sig had not been fired and I picked it up for 350.00 less than retail. I then jokingly asked for a nice guy discount and the guy gave me another 25.00 off.
I have a hard time taking a number, standing around waiting for some kid to blankly stare at me while I strip a gun down and check it. If I'm annoyed badly enough, I will leave it and let him figure it out. I like to support privately owned shops that actually gives a shit.
We are lucky to have a fantastic shop that has hundreds and hundreds of firearms, rotating inventory, great employees that are fun to hang out with.
Don't let the box stores win :).

Don't do it. LC9's have the suckiest trigger ever. He's probably gonna sale you the LC9 and then go buy the new LC9s which has an awesome trigger.

Just bought some 225gr 308 subsonic to run suppressed. This is my second order of the stuff and man is it quiet. Has to be run in a 1:10 twist though. Beck ammunition is where I bought it, which used to be Right To Bear Arms ammo. Great for anyone who wants to put the sneak on some hogs. Muzzle velocity is only 990 fps so past 300yds you might as well throw rocks.

I checked them out at a local shop a couple months ago. Def like the difference from the LC9 to the LC9s. Trigger is night and day

Matt they also just came out with a pro version of the lc9s that doesn't have the mag or manual safety I believe.

    I hadn't, didn't even know about it.
Looks to be in a similar class to the Streamlight? Little bit steeper price though. I chose the Streamlight mainly on its popularity and good reviews at such a low price point.

If you buy one, make sure it's the screw attach type and not a lever attach model. The Gen 1 APLs used a flip lever and they tend to fly off your gun while firing. New models have been on the shelf a few months now.
