Considering the fact that build parties are pretty much banned starting this year which means a big portion of the supply of AKs have disappeared overnight, naturally prices will increase.

So what all comes with it? (2) bore snakes and some cleaning lube/solvent?

I like to keep it simple. Break Free CLP (Cleaner, Lubricant, Preservative), bore snake, q-tips, clean t-shirt rag, tooth brush. Pretty much all I need. Looks to be about the same thing.

 

for me it's motor oil (whatever left over after an oil change), boresnake, rags, parts cleaner, and qtips

 

Correct 4 oz o cleaner, 4 oz of lube, bore snake, microfiber rag, brush and a case (which i find useful, just cause i like things organized and in one place)

Local stores costs too much to even think about buying from. But yes its still probably more than what i should have spent on a kit but im going to give it a try

I saw motor oil used by some and lithium synthetic grease too.

Brought home new Savage MKII FV-SR tonight. Now for scope and suppressor.

 

Love mine. Was very surprised with accuracy for a $200 rifle. Usually run a spectre II on it. Keep an eye on your magazine. They can separate on the top back side and will malfunction. A center punch and hammer can take care of it.

 

Never had issues with my gen 1 Tavor Timney trigger with light primer strikes but Timney was nice enough to send me the updated gen 2 trigger today. Thanks Timney:
