    Agreed. Something goes "bump" in the night, your adrenalin pumps, your hands shake, and you're going to be lucky to find the trigger, much less enter any kind of combination.

    If you have kids and feel the need to keep your guns locked up at all times, then biometric is the only way to go.
    Personally, no kids. If I'm home, the safe is open. If I'm not home, it's locked.

    They really aren't that closely spaced. You can do multiple button presses also. You can set up a very simple code, if desired.

    I've been looking at getting one these, but have yet to shoot one myself. I currently have a stainless mkII, bull barrel and like the idea of the aluminum. Also considering just getting the replacement barrel from Tactical Solutions.
