    I'm interested in getting the Non-Magpul version:

    Is there something on the Magpul version that I'm missing? From my research they only add the stock and the forgrip which if bought directly from the Magpul site is a total of $140 but they increase the price by $210?

    I would like to have the Magpul parts when I get the Remington 870 Express Tactical, but if it's cheaper to get the base and buy the parts seperate, I rather do that.

    A store near me, that says it is out of stock for both the Magpul version and the Express Tactical with the Ghost Rings, has the Magpul listed for $769.99 and the Express Tactical for $489.99.
    That's a $280 difference for $140 in parts? :confused:

    Try to get an Express Tactical.

    Price the market will bear. Supply and demand. Sucks, but right now demand is outstripping supply, so prices are higher than normal.

    And Magpul fanbois will pay $200 for a $20 piece of plastic ;)

    Yeah, my goal is the Express Tactical with Ghost Ring Sights, 18.5" barrel, and a seven shot tube. (Mainly the 18.5" barrel and the ghost ring sights so I don't have to pay for another barrel or pay a gunsmith to put the ghost ring sights on.)

    I understand the price being higher because the market, but I thought that would be more for the actual gun then the parts. Do you think they would actually mark it up for twice the price of the parts?

    Well, the 250 pack of 40 S&W I ordered seems to have been lost by UPS. I kept checking the tracking it never moved since the 19th, so I called Cabela's and they couldn't even track it. I find it kind of disturbing that 250 rounds of ammo got "lost".

    that's pretty bizarre. i'm pretty sure when they ship ammo, you put a special package sticker on it and it becomes almost impossible to misplace. hopefully it turns up for you

    One would think that. I was issued a full refund, so the hunt is back on I guess. One thing though is if it magically appears one day, it'll be like I got a free gift!

    Haha yeah that would be nice. I just got a few thousand rounds of 22lr from cabelas a few weeks ago and had no problems with them. i need some 40SW though - how much was it for those 250 rds?
