I couldn't find a 590 anywhere so I decided to go with the 500 Persuader. I figure I'll add ghost ring sights somewhere down the line.

    Good luck with your search.

Here is my Glock 22 with the added Surefire X 400 and my AR-15 with some of the added goodies to it. There is still more stuff that will be added but the parts are on back order.

    Lucky SOB

I just picked up 20 aquilla mini shell slugs, 10 centurion 00 buck 2 inch shells, and 15 2&3/4 inch 00 buck for my new to me Ithaca m37 featherweight that u also got today (actually yesterday as of 2.5 hours ago lol)

It's a pre disconnect made in 1971, the condition is rough on finish, but mechanically sound.

I haven't decided what to do with it, input?

I have 3 or 4 options that I am looking at. All work will be done by me except cutting the barrel if I decide to.

Option 1) restore it, strip and refinish the entire thing, probably do the metal with gloss black duracoat and the wood with a walnut stain

Option 2) tac it out, cut the barrel to 18, add tactical choke and synthetic stocks, duracoat metal olive drab

Option 3) old school tactical (as I call it). Put a corncob front grip, stain them very dark, and then duracoat it in that dark green you see on cosmolibe soaked parkerizing, then sbs it and cut the barrel at the mag tube (which is at 13 inches)

Option 4) leave it as is and just replace the front sight.

I lean towards option 1. Though I may put the corn cob forend on it anyways

Personally, I love the model 37's. I prefer the smaller 'corncob' fore end. I assume that is the ribbed, narrower one? Great shooting guns, bottom eject is nice for the lefties. Restore it.

Ya, the corncob is the small grip. I lean to putting it on and restoring it with the corncob grip rather than the one currently on there

I don't know why I bought the Glock. I already have a 17 but it was just to good of a deal to pass up. I am hoping I can trade someone for a Glock 19
