Watch out, HK's will become an obsession. I think my next one will be a USP. I've already got a HK45, VP9 and VP40

    Picked up my shields.
Also got a "gun cabinet" from harbor freight for a great deal at $291 out the door(reg $449). Didn't need anything crazy expensive or huge for my first one.
Really like the little extra "lock box" up top to put pistols or whatever in. Over all thought it was a good buy.

Good for you, man. Every gun owner should have a safe or safe-like-object. Nothing worse than hearing "oh man, some kids broke out my bedroom window and grabbed my AR." Never good for gun owners.

Yeah my thoughts exactly. I figured for the price and actual great quality of this one it was a no brainier. I figure 5-10 years from now when I move out of my condo and actually buy a house I can get a real quality gun safe that is larger too. This should work perfect for my needs now.

I still find it somewhat odd to see custom 10/22 with normal tapered barrels for hunting an what not. I know they still shoot excellent, I'm just so used to seeing bench rest style stocks and heavy bull barrels set up for shooting small groups.

Hey guys, just found this thread and this is what I have in my collection so far.

S&W M&P15 Tactical with Eotech sight
Glock 23 Gen 4 .40 S&W with Glock night sights
Glock 20SF 10mm with newly installed Truglo TFOs

I've been trading handguns like crazy but have fallen in love with Glock. Carry the 23 daily and have the 20 for woods carry

It's your weak side if it's not your strong side. I don't have the gift of being ambidextrous, so I call it it weak side. When I'm shooting with my left hand, my right hand becomes my support hand and vice-versa. You're technically always manipulating your light with your support hand unless you're punching out with one hand, which is also much easier to do with this light, by the way.

I love Glocks. I started with an M&P .40 and loved it, it's a great firearm. But M&P has horrible triggers. I also had a Kimber 1911 to try the 1911 line and did not care for it. Traded that for an M&P9 Shield, then that for a modded Glock 26, then that for the AR. I do regret getting rid of the 26, it was heavily modded with a laser grip and a ghost trigger kit. Would have been a great carry weapon, I'm just not convinced on the 9mm cartridge. I like .40. I just picked up the G20 and put a 22 lb SS RSA and Truglo TFOs on it with some full power 10mm ammo. It's also the SF so a little thinner frame. We have hogs and gators here in FL so I want them stopped if I need to.

I want to install an extended slide stop on my G20 and probably my G23 just for the heck of it. The G20 is a little hard for me to operate but I have 0 issues on the 23. I'd also like to give it a lighter trigger
