S&W 629? I own one (6" barrel) and love it! Did swap to Hogue grips on it though as i didnt like the stock ones to much for hotter loads

    Yup 629-5 with a 5 inch barrel. No lock/safety so that's a plus.

Bought a Timney trigger for my Remington 700 and put it in tonight. I like it. I wish it was a thin trigger shoe though. It's oddly wide.

Finally pulled the trigger on an AR though this is technically a pistol. Bought it a week ago but finally got to take it out within the last 48 hours if that counts haha. Love it.

Was dead set on a smith and Wesson m&p15 but ran across this at a gun show and fell in love with the free floating barrel and aggressive muzzle. Ended up being about the same price. This thing is loud and it spits out a hell of a fireball but I definitely don't regret this purchase. Looking to buy some magpul popup sights and angled foregrip. Debating on sig brace.

    Picked up a brand new Magpul MS1 sling....for $5.
Somebody thought it was a belt and priced it accordingly.

    How do they compare?
This is my first "real" sling. I have a cheap, gun show special the MS1 is replacing.

The VTAC is very nice. I have one and like it. I have no experience with the MagPul. The MagPul has more accessories/add-ons/adapters. I don't know if that truly translates into more flexibility or just more $$ spent.

I have a padded VTAC with QD mounts and with the proper hardware it can convert from two-point to single-point, plus it has the quick-adjust strap to make it easy on/off. I've taken a few AR classes with it and have had it slung over my shoulder for the better part of 3 or 4 hours. I guess it was about as comfortable as can be expected with 7-10 pounds of dead weight hanging off of you.

So I have a padded vtac, a Blue Force Gear version of the same thing, and then the Magpul version of it as well

I like the style of sling, I prefer the magpul version honestly
