picked up the p229 today. happy with the purchase, it has one decent scratch on the slide but otherwise it looks good. ordering grips for it next

 

Saw my parents today and dad got me a nice surprise. I kind of like it never been a fan of Deringers.

 

I bought an investment ar-15 upper for $320 out the door at the last gun show. Depending on the election results this year I may have a $2K gun now...

Sold my CZ452, about to pick up a Ruger 10/22 collectors series to replace it.

Was debating a basic Marlin M60 or 10/22 and adding peep sights (tech sights) but for $50 more than the basic model and having peeps already on, it's a no brainer.

 

Your 452 was a damn nice firearm. Much nicer than any 10/22, and possibly much nicer than any Ruger. I hope you got some good coin for it.

My gun guy offered me $400 for mine without even seeing it. I told him it was going to my grave with me.

 

For sure they're excellent firearms. The guy I sold it to was reminiscing with me about one he bought 20+ years ago for $180. Talking about how he had Remingtons 52s, Annies, etc but he loved his 452 the most. He sold it to a friend a while ago, eventually picked up a 455 when they came out but his son in law wanted it so he sold that too. Now he has a 452 again. I'm glad it went to somebody who will actually shoot it instead of let it sit in a safe like I did

I would have kept it, but since I'm more interested in shooting soda cans and reactive targets, I don't need a super accurate bolt action.

 

bought this a couple weeks ago . Just picked up an ergo grip, bushnell trs-25 red dot, another mag, mag loader, and bag. All within the last week... looking to get a foregrip and should be good for a little while... just looking to do some shooting with my older son (5 yrs old)
