I usually do my bulk ordering from targetsportusa.com

free shipping and no tax for 1,000 rounds of 9mm. I snagged 1,000 of blazer brass last time and I want to say it was $209

Found this Walther PPK/S .380 yesterday when cleaning. I lost this pistol in the house about 15 years ago and knew it was somewhere. It was purchased new about 30 years ago and never been fired yet (except test fired at PPK factory). IIRC, bullets are probably 30 years old too. Glad to have found this little jewel.

Question: Should 30 year old bullets (been in dry area) be discarded ?? ..... Thanks ...

Should shoot fine. I've got some Mil-Surp ammo from the 50's for my 03-A3 and it shoots 100%

Having a hard time wrapping my head around losing a little beauty like that for 15 years, though. Glad you found it!

....^^^... Thanks for the info on the ammo ... been in the military, but am not a gun & ammo expert today.

I have an AR-15 (never been fired) that I lost in the house 2 or 3 years ago ... been working (remodeling) on this house almost 20 years and put things up to not get them dusty. It's like Christmas ... cleaning the place and finding things ... finishing house now ... and semi-packing & getting ready to move in next year.

Found this AR-15 -- Model LE6940 yesterday too ... need to find the magazines & ammo for it now ... good thing I didn't need to use these before.

Ammo (back then) was $9.99 for 50 rounds ... it's like finding a little time capsule ... :)

IDK how you lose guns and forget about them, but congrats on the find. I'll pm you my address and you can "lose" some guns at my house too! Especially that Walther

I don't shoot much now (shoot a little Ruger .22 LR target pistol sometimes now) ... had my days with hand & stationary weapons ... just not into them much since the military. ....... Probably sell a lot of this stuff and some really good tools when I move.

I will super-down-size later this year and live between US & Thailand. Going to sell a lot of good tools later too (I love & collect good hand & power tools - I will miss my tools).

Probably best to "not fire these new found weapons" and try to find the original boxes if I can ... then sell them before I move.

You might go through the first 1/2 of your life buying sh*t you will never use ... then you go through the second 1/2 of your life selling that same stuff.

Where are you now, if you don't mind my asking? I'm always on the lookout for good tools, lol. And boomsticks too, but I've got more money in tools than i do in guns (so far; it's getting to be a fairly close race)

Ouch. Too far to travel for a pickup, and shipping would kill me, lol.

Every paycheck I get or every dime I pickup, I'm stocking up on ammo because of the CA b/s...my goal is at least 5k+ of each caliber I shoot and right now I am over 80% of my goal in each caliber...you should all do the same...either you're buying ammo or magazines:
