I used to think they looked cool, back when I got on a waiting list like two years ago. But since then, I guess they've lost their luster waiting for it with me. I've moved on to bigger and better things I guess .

    Waiting list?

They appeal to me because it's a reasonably priced 9mm carbine that uses glock mags and is very compact. Perfect for fun at the range and truck gun on trips maybe.

Oh, I absolutely agree with you, those are several of the things that drew me to it also. But I guess I got bored waiting. When I got on the list, it was still on the GEN 1 and then they made the switch to the gen 2 which delayed it farther, and here I sit a year later still waiting for the gen 2. What sucks, is the price they gave me for the GEN 1 is supposed to be honored for the gen 2 which was like 279 ( if my memory serves right) and the store is a high volume gun place so I wouldn't think they would have to wait long to get one

Find a gen 1 somewhere if you can - I've seen a couple on armslist. The front sight on the gen 2 is poorly attached and can come loose easily. I haven't seen a fix for it yet.

I'll bash one thing about it. As a pistol it blows. If you aren't going to sbr it, buy the carbine version,or run a brace don't bother getting it.

Other wise mine has been flawless. I ordered the longer handguard so it just gets better :)

I actually shot the carbine over the weekend and it was amazing what I am going to do is have the barrel cut threaded and suppressor pinned for a 16.5 barrel.....

I want one. Waiting for aftermarket support for some decent mags. To many people report issues with the mags with cracked or chipped feeding lips.

No troubles with my Scorpion so far except for the mags. Two 30 rounders broke feed lips immediately, during the first range trip. But the other two I bought and the original 20-rnd mags have been perfect. I think there's something in the polymer formula where they either fail immediately or are pretty much ok. Some Lancer metal-lipped mags would rock though.

The Academy in Topeka had a Scorpion carbine as of Sunday morning if anyone over there is interested.
