I had it on Fox news, when the guys delivered the safe. One of them was like "Oh Fox news, good on you" one of the other guys was like "Dude he bought a gun safe bigger than most refrigerators, OF COURSE he has Fox news on".

    Lol.

FWIW, I have 2 gun safes, plus a few lockable toolboxes full of ammunition, and never watch Fox news. Usually my radio's tuned to NPR, lol.

Looks like a PSA shipment to me. I won't order from them any more for that reason; I had 3 shipments in a row from them that were totally destroyed inside and told them to stick it after the last one.

FM does a much better job.

I always dump my ammo into lined ammo can so this was no big deal to me. I was only missing 3 rounds. Some people who bought from the same sale were missing as much as 271 rounds. I guess I lucked out???

I keep mine boxed, typically, in the safe. If I plan on storing it for anything longer than a year without shooting it I'll stuff it in mylar, but it usually stays in the box.
But the shipments from PSA just got dumped into an old coffee can, since at the time I didn't have anything more sophisticated for storage, and they always came in as a pile of destroyed boxes and loose ammo in the bottom of a larger box.

That's about what the local gun shop is charging. 500 rounds of Remington Thunderbolt for $30.
But, once sales tax is added in it works out to $.063 per round.

    :notsure:

Really makes me wish for the days when I was first learning how to shoot and a box of 555 Winchester was $12, lol.

Looks like PSA's shipping department uses the same hiring standards that they do for customer service in store

    Whole lotta stuff
Least y'all don't live in comifornia. If you can even find .22, it's expensive. 5.56 is becoming exorbitant again as well, 50 cents around for AE. 300 Blk 15$ for a box of 20 of AE, otherwise it's over a dollar per round in any other brand.

Time to start the reloading press.
