yeah i was reading something said with the new law in colorado that you are technically only safe carrying a revolver because any semi auto is capable of hold more rounds than allowed. so people are probably scrambling to buy stiff like that...

I just renewed my Georgia Weapons Carry license 79.25 I was hoping the new law had passed and we didnt need to pay for fingerprints on renewal but it didnt would have been about half this price for 5 years..

Thats not true you can carry any semi-auto pistol legally that holds more than 10rds after July 1st given that you bought it before July 1st. You just cant let anyone else touch the magazine or pistol while it has the 10+rd magazine. so in essence you cant teach your kids or wives or girlfriends to shoot any gun that has a magazine that can be expanded or hold more than 10rds for pistols or 15rds for rifles and if at a range or taking a class you can not allow a teacher to handle said gun. So i just bought my girlfriend some magazines for my guns :). pretty stupid fucking law seeing that most gun crimes are committed with pistols that hold less than 10 rds. And on a side note Hickenlooper even said this law is almost impossible to enforce...

Bought my very first gun yesterday 4/16/13, it's a Para 1911 .45ACP Expert
Been wanting a pistol for so long, specially a 1911 model, and I finally went out and bought one. Haven't shot it yet but will later on today. Also bought 100 rounds of practice shots and 20 rounds of hallow points. Can't wait to gt to the range today.

Great choice for a first sidearm! There are a lot of excellent pistols out there, but nothing feels quite like a good 1911.

Id pass on the fail zero bcg. My buddy has one with the bolt and all. Everything is super tight on it. It took alot of effort to turn and remove the cam pin had to use a wrench. The bolt sits super tight in the bcg. I would look at phase 5 electroless nickel bcg
