Yeah. She really doesn't mind me spending money on hunting and guns, but this will be an expensive year. My daughter and I do a hunt in TX every year around her school breaks and I try to do a big hunt every 2-3 years. I'm taking her to Italy for a couple of weeks to keep her happy.

Yeah. It's great having kids who hunt. My son is in the Marines now and rarely has time, but my daughter loves hunting. This is one of her three deer from this year. She has a Mark Chanlynn built 257 roberts that she's killed many deer with. She did shoot one with a 338 lapua this year just because she wanted to shoot it.

Bought my wife another magazine for her Ruger .22. Did another hour training with an instructor this week, tactical exercises and CC education. Did over 400 rounds this week between testing my wife's Ruger .22, brushing up with my Ruger 1911, and practice and training with my XD Mod 2 9mm. Oh, and ordered a new Savoy holster for the Mod 2.

Love a good week of smoke, fire, and noise. Hoping to get my other CCW XDs .45 out this week when/if I get home.

Midway. Just don't let their $10 off $100 fool you...it only applies to regular priced items, not sales.

Just put my first 308 AR together. I'm sure the other shooters at the indoor range are gonna love me.

Bought two boxes of ammo, then used them to perforated a target.:D:infantry:

Broke a lot of other things before I got to his/(her?) collarbone:rolleyes: I was experimenting with different stances, and switching eyes. Found shooting right handed and aiming with my left (good) eye got the best results.

Haha I built a normal 5.56 AR with the same muzzle brake on there and people behind me said it felt like a shockwave. A 308 will be awesome!
