Can't help with that directly, but I can tell/share with you what I do. I go to HD, Lowe's, Target, etc. and get large pieces of cardboard and cut it to fit my DIY target stand. I simply use spray adhesive to attach paper targets.

I'm building the same style target stand. I don't have any cardboard large enough to cut down to size. I was planning on using large binder clips instead of spray adhesive.

How about a roll of that thick paper stuff they use under flooring? that may be rigid enough to attach a target.

Oh, you meant getting it there for free. I thought you meant buying. Haha. I need to go to home depot to buy some wood today so I may try that.

Go to lowes and find someone on the stocking crew and ask them to set aside some large pieces of cardboard for you, you'll have all you can use and be able to cut it to size.
Or you could talk to the delivery drivers and get some from them, they have to cut appliances out of the box so they have large pieces as well.

My target's not very wide, a little wider than the standard USPSA target.

Never tried wally world, and there was no target near where I used to live.
I worked at lowes while in college and could get all I needed whenever I wanted, once I left there I could still call people and get them to set some aside for me but now I live 1,000 miles away from there so I need to make some new contacts.

Another source for me is my local Blue Seal (I guess any type of farm goods type store may work). A lot of their big bagged items (food seed, etc.) arrives in these hybrid cardboard pallet/box thingies. When one can't be used anymore, they save the cardboard for me. It's about twice as thick as your typical cardboard. Good stuff! I buy my dog food & garden supplies there.

Bed rug, ARE bed top, Weathertechs. Little goodies here and there!
I have one as well, I've had it out a few times and really like it. Shorter range at 50yds (i think) or so packs a big punch and accurate. Any further and accuracy goes down.
They're designed to accept common mags, but it seems they've change the design so im not sure which one. SW, beretta 92 or glock.

Try motorcycle dealers as well. Depending on the manufacturer, some are shipped in wood crates while others are on a pallet then enclosed with cardboard

What did you get? Ruger 10/22 takedown? I have that one with an aftermarket stock and a UTG 3-9 optic. Fucking love that thing.
