Have not gotten to use it yet. Though it seems like it'll work well. And for $169 I probably can't go wrong unless it shits the gun right away. Brightness settings 1-8 work great. The highest setting of 8 appears to be very bright.

It co-witnesses perfectly with the Diamondhead iron sights on my Windham Weaponry CDI too. I can line up the iron sights through the optic and the red reticle lines up perfectly.

That was the retail price at the gun shop. I never bothered looking online. New gun store owned and operated by an Army Vet (Blackhawk Crew Chief). Figured I'd just give him that biz.

How much of a change did the "pistol" grip make? I've been thinking about getting one for my 308.

My wrist doesn't like to bend enough for the stock grip to be comfortable. I'm gonna get one of these

Bought these last night. Just for range use/home defense (if ever needed).

You should really pick up some hollow points for home defense. FMJ isn't a reliable stopper, especially in a lightweight round like that

You may be right. MD has some pretty strict laws.

I wonder if those Federal Guard Dog rounds are legal there. They're not a hollowpoint, but they sure as hell expand.

I typically use the Speer Gold Dot 124gr +P's personally, but same idea.
