to be honest i wish everyone had a gun safe. i used to have nightmares about my dads 1911 being stolen and used in a crime because my fingerprints wouldve been on it from the firing range, and my heart would break for the victims family

I agree. Since 2007 82,000 guns have been stolen and never found in FL. That's insane.

Or, they say they’re stolen so they can collect the insurance money and wipe the serial numbers out of their name when they sold it to whoever. Obviously, I’m not saying it’s all like that but that scenario definitely exists and happens quite often.

I was thinking the same thing until I put a CMC trigger in my .223/.556 AR and my trigger pull went from Plus #8 to less than #4 pounds ! like night and day difference. So when I put together a .300 Blackout for Hunting I put another CMC in it too. They really are worth the price just my .02

Unless you need a heavier pull, go with this one.

You 'used' to be able to find them on sale all the time. Not sure how stuff is in today's environment.

What bugs me is I know people with safes, but they don’t secure it to the ground. Unless you have a really heavy safe, guys can just steal the whole thing and break it later.

I've been thinking about that. I have a safe but it's not bolted down. I live on the second story of an apartment building and figured it would be ok because that thing was a bitch to bring in empty and took three people and a dolly. I think I'm ok.

The big problem is people that leave guns in their cars. I know Lots of people that have lost guns that way. This is pure stupidity and there is No accountability. A lockerdown console safe isn't that expensive:

    http://www.lockerdown.com/c-77-shop-by-vehicle-toyota-tacoma.html

If your home safe can be carried out of your house by thieves, it's not big enough :^)
