I feel I am still lagging behind on ammo. I keep atleast 1000 rounds of each caliber I own. But my 22lr is only at about 120lbs. It is a good general use caliber, so I feel I need more.

The amount of ammo to have on hand to me is related directly to how much you shoot. I catch ammo on sale and right now I can honestly say I have no idea how much ammo I have on hand. Does that mean I am a hoarder? NO it means I am behind on going shooting.
Buy as much as you want it's yours. to keep or shoot it's up to you. :fistbump:

Yeah, this was a slow year for shooting. I think I went through 3k between 5 calibers. 22 is going to get more use now that I am getting out of the Savage 64 (cant get comfortable with it) and into the 15-22. Hence the loadup on ammo.... I need to start keeping my brass instead of giving it to others.

@windsor my Dr. likes to reload and has a dedicated room for it. One day several years ago during a office visit we were talking about shooting. He asked me what I did with my used brass? I told him I leave it at the range. He said if I brought it to him he would reload it for me! I put my 9mm/ .38 and .357 brass on his porch and he reloads it and puts it back on my porch or gives it to me when I come to see him. He has never taken a penny from me. He is also the same Dr. that caught both my cancers early.
I need to question him about .223 :fingerscrossed::anonymous:

Just one more. My last “budget” rifle I put together a few years ago, a PSA Premium upper ended up being about $1300. after I finished it. This one is staying a budget rifle.

3k to 5k is about average to me per year. I like to shoot different calibers but I also like to keep my skill level up on my EDC pistol too.

It took mine three days to ship out. I knew when I placed the order not to be in a hurry with them, but Five business days from ordering to receiving ain’t too bad, still a lot faster than they used to be.

Just purchased the revolver its a rock island 38 special for $200 brand new. I wasnt even planning on buying it or looking for another gun but for 200 bucks cant say no to that. And the others are a sr9c and and xbg co2 bb gun thats just a blast looks amd feels like a real gun. Just put a few hundred rounds through each so now its cleaning time.
