I’m kind of the crowd where 90% of people will run away when they get shot by anything. The other 10%... well I’m not one of those that expects them to be hiding in every dark alley either.

Carry what makes you feel safe and helps midigate whatever situation you feel with using it for.

I'm not sure what you're implying here, but I will say that anyone carrying a NAA .22 as a primary means of defense should probably have their head examined. While I agree that any living creature will have second thoughts about continuing an attack after getting shot with anything, and having anything is better than nothing, from a purely physiological standpoint the ability of a .22 to stop an attacker dead in their tracks will depend heavily on shot placement, and a NAA ain't a precision shooter.

If you want to shut the lights off quick, it takes a shot to the central nervous system (specifically the brain stem). Even a straight shot to the heart isn't a guarantee that the fight will end in short order.

I'm in Florida, which used to mean anything goes. Local shops would set up booths with a 10-20% markup. During the ammo crunch, vendors would wipe out walmart and sell ammo at a 100-200% markup. Not to mention all of the "tactical accessories" that are too low quality for airsoft.

I bought my first long gun at a gun show back in 1992 (a Norinco milled AK that cost me $250). The days of finding deals seem to be long gone.

My wife bought this for me and she loves to shoot it too. Run high brass shells through it and work the action like your trying to break it and it’ll run just fineDABE9A6B-7670-44C0-9541-59986C335228.jpg

Would you say Idaho is a gun friendly state? I’ve been to Wyoming and it seemed pretty sweet there too

Yeah I'd say its decent. The neighboring states west arent...You can get a concealed weapons permit at the Sheriffs office but they dont honor that it WA. But you take a class and get the "enhanced" concealed weapons permit and then WA honors that....I dont even go into OR so I dont care about OR.

Pretty sure the AMT Hardballer was a 7". Mine's an average everyday 6". I don't want to overdo it. Just want to be adequate.

    That was 92
How much inflation has happened since then!?
You can still get a complete AR at the show for under $700.
Idk how much minimum wage is there.
Its $14 here now....I think and a pound of ground beef costs around $7 depending what you buy. That grass feed stuff and the 90%-10% fat beef is insanely expensive.

Yes the days of deals are long gone....
