Snagged a Remington Fieldmaster (model 572) today. I'll throw a pic up in the .22LR thread when I get a chance. It looks good beside dad's old Fieldmaster (model 121). These old .22 pumps are a hoot...

Scouring eBay for accessories to go with the spare AP lower which I've decided to build into an A4 style rifle. Picked up a KAC M5 RAS, a mixed batch of rail covers, and an old school vertical grip.

I've been researching the Taurus G2c 9mm. I've had a M&P Shield for a few years and while it's a good pistol, I find the grip just too narrow for my hands. I looked at the SIG P365 which I really liked. The double stack mag made the grip wide enough that it fit my hand well. But at $550 in my area, that price is a little too steep for me. Enter the G2c. Same size as the Shield but with a double stack mag that makes the grip size just right. AND, holds 12 + 1 rounds. Seen nothing but good reviews so I picked one up yesterday. $180 NIB.

    Compared to my Shield

Especially for $180, I figured I take a chance on the Taurus. I've had Taurus revolvers before but never an auto.

Yeah there's a Gun & Pawn that sells guns at $10 over cost (on guns worth up to $500) and $20 over on those worth more. If you order a gun and prepay, it's at cost which is what I did.

I’m bidding on a Kac carbine rail system, new and complete. Hoping no one drives up the price.

I had one several years ago and it was always super reliable. Wasn’t as accurate as my XD or my Shield but that’s not a shocker. Also could have been user error

Just remember, you get what you pay for. I'd buy a Taurus revolver any day, but a semi-auto, I'll stay clear.

Hope it works out for you though. Keep us posted on reliability.

I hear you. But I'm not one to make a purchase without doing my research first. Everything I've seen is that the G2c has been very reliable. More so than the SIG p365 and you'll pay a lot more for it.

    We'll see.
