More comfortable than my XDS to carry.

I had an XDS-40 for about a year. It’s the only pistol I’ve ever sold after I bought it. .40SW is just too much for a gun that size. Straight-up unwieldy. It was exceptionally reliable though.

Just for the thread subject matter, I picked up a 500 round can of IMI M193 5.56 for $150.

Don’t get me wrong. Love my XDS in .45. It is just a matter of the P220R being very comfortable and a very sweet carry with the proper holster. Mine is carried lower back and completely unobtrusive. The XDS does not “bite” even in .45 and is surprisingly accurate.

While I haven’t shot an XDS-45, I can see what you’re saying. .45 has more thump, and less crack than .40, which would make it a better round for the platform.

Agreed. After 20-40 rounds the grips on the XDS can be a bit rough if you’re not accustomed to it

I’d put some of those rubberized Talon grips on mine, and that tamed the aggressive grip texture significantly. Still wasn’t enough for me to keep it.

Just got this delivered to handle the mother truckers who keep digging up my potted plants out back. I've already ordered a steel breech and 14" barrel for it. I have a feeling I'll be going deep into the modding obsession.

I didn't even know there were mods for them. I have a .22 and have got one rat so far. My cat is way better at getting the rats.

I went to a website and picked a 1322 with a bunch of options and it came out over 300 bucks. wow!

Hmmm....Oversized Vest.....interesting.....would you have a link for this oversized vest?

Hope you are referring to a vest that fits folks with a >50 inch chest and a waist that would be reasonably proportioned.....

    Asking for a friend.
