This beauty arrived today.

 

looks worth it...Ive paid over $1k For AR-15...now they are about half that price...

 

Picked up a RPR today. Its chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor. I installed a Vortex Viper pst gen II 5-25x50 on Seekins Precision rings, Timney drop in trigger, Atlas bipod, Acu tac monopod, fluted bolt shroud and bolt knob, and Anarchy Outdoors grip. Cant wait to get this to the range!

 

With this set up I still be able to peep through open sight. New mount goes on 870 for the win.

 

That’s a nicely appointed rifle. It’ll hit a steel silhouette at 1000yds all day in 6.5. I got my eye on the RPR in 300win mag that just came out

Holy cow good lol good luck keeping your eyebrow clear of that big ol scope
That high comb and the spacers in front of the recoil pad should help with that

I love the magpul stuff on my 870, turned it into a real turkey hammer.


I switched it up a little this spring for turkey season:

Holographic sight was too high maintenance in the field and iron ( fiber optic lol) sights are easy with a shotty
And that magpul sling had way too much stuff hanging off it so it got replaced with a basic Walmart sling.

From what I understand, they make nice stuff.

 

The sorta pistol grip feels way natural when aiming like a rifle and the adjustable LOP (I just keep it as short as possible) helps me mount and shoot well with a backpack on

Just need to paint/dip/cerakote to get the receiver/magazine and barrel looking better

But the turkeys don’t care so neither should I lol

 

I have a very old marlin bolt action 16 ga goose gun that has taken down a bunch of Turkeys. That shotgun is ugly as hell but it gets the job done.

 

I picked up a P365.

 

New to me DBAL mounted and zeroed.

 

Thanks! I was looking at the 300 also, but it came down to ammo price for me. Even if you reload, the 300 is using 80+ grains of powder, and the 6.5 is only around 40 grains.

I have one of those pocket clips on my LCP along with a MIC holster. Weighs as much as a pocket knife.
