    150 rds of Tula 9mm for $30 @ walmart

Shot most of it at the range with my dad's SR9C. Looking to get into an XDS but not sure if I want the .45 or 9mm...I'm leaning towards 9mm since ammo is half the price of .45 and I see it more often.

Will be open carrying while hunting and plan on taking a CCW course soon

I'm noticing a lot of XDS 45s on the secondary market - I assume because of recoil and controllability issues. I've not shot one but I have shot a G36 quite a bit and I don't know if I'd want to shoot a single stack version very often. I'd go with the 9mm in a pocket gun.

Get the XDs in 9mm because it's a FAR better trigger, more capacity and better recoil pulse for better follow up shot placement (read: panic hammer firing).

Lots of guns from the genre had/have recalls so it's no real big reason to get bent of of shape over. I got mine back last week and you get an extra extended magazine, grip extension x2 (for different size back straps) and one of the small clam shells that they come in from the manufacturer to Springfield before they package it up in a larger clamshell with more accessories to sell to US customers.

Not FA just a double fire but the scarier situation was that sometimes it could discharge when chambering a round. This is a good reminder to ALWAYS point EVERY firearm in a safe direction when chambering a round. You never know.

According to people on a forum a couch cushion will make a handgun 25dbl. Knowing how an XDs is made as well as what the problem is and how it's fixed it would be VERY difficult if not impossible for it to go FA.

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
Haven't bought anything... yet. My stolen gun was found in the town over. When I get it back (guess it is evidence right now), I'll be buying plenty of ammo.
