Very true! However they don't exactly have a shortage of people wanting to be a pilot and I'm not in a good spot now to drop everything and join up. It isn't out of the question but its not a likely route for me.

2 Glock mags. a G17 18rd and a G17 32rd. Both ran good in the Sub 2k. They had Amend 2 and Promags for cheap at the Cal ranch near my house so I grabbed a few to test.

It's been 12-15 years since I let a buddy have my single stage press. It was super for making ultra-accurate hunting loads for my deer rifles & 44mag wheel guns.

Injuries, surgeries, recoveries and the always-present work & family schedules put a halt on hunting and the gear went to a buddy who put it to great use.

Fast forward to the past month and I made the decision to get a progressive press and keep my 1911's properly fed on range ammo. I'll be hunting some this coming deer season and may pick up some .30'06, .308win & .44mag dies, too.

Stuff has been showing up over the past few days. It'll be another week or so before I have time to play around with it.....but, looking forward to it bigtime.

Decided to keep it simple on brass cleaning for the time being. It seems that wet tumbling & ultrasonic cleaning has really come into play for many reloaders since I have been outa the game. Figured I'd simply go with what I was accustomed to for starters.

Wife was like "WTF is showing up next ?" every time the mail folks would drop off another box. The dogs were going nuts each time.

One thing is for certain.....they mail lady wasn't too fond of the small shopping boxes that were stuffed with lead.

Dillon makes top notch stuff. I've had a RL450B since the early 80s and a SDB.45ACP for 10 years.

    Thanks for the endorsement.

I'm getting more confident with them as a company. The initial order process and the sales rep absolutely sucked.....but I was able to finally get things moving along with one of their managers who was very helpful. One item in the order, the digital scale, was held up in customs and backordered. I'd ordered everything in late May and hadn't received the press kit....just some of the ancillary items. The sales guy, Tom, said it'd be sometime in July before it came. He said he couldn't simply delete the scale and send the rest....their inventory system wouldn't allow it. Lazy bum. His manager, Sam, took care of it right away and the press kit finally showed up.

I've also spoken with a couple of their tech service guys who were really helpful.

Just sucks on the timing of the delay as it arrived way after my work schedule will allow any time to mess with it.

Must have been a new guy lol. Their CS is great. I was given the SDB and it was in sorry shape. It had laid on a basement floor in a flood. They sent me parts to fix it up, NC. They also said I could send it back to them and they would refurb it or send a new one, again NC. I should have sent it back, but it's running good now. Lifetime warranty that they stand behind.

My house is serviced by a post office different than the one I worked at, when I was ordering ammo/gun parts regularly and was home for deliveries she would always say “man, these car parts are heavy”, I would always think “Yeah, car parts o_O“.

Yeah im not sure. G17 mags are 15rds? All my mags are 17rds. I was thinking the the 15 rd mags would be short in the G34/17l. The 17rd mags would fit in the G17 though.
