For those of us in the 40+ year age group :D, I'm sure many are suffering from Presbyopia. Within the past year, I've had to stash reading glasses (+2.00) pretty much everywhere (truck, work, kitchen, basement, etc). I've been looking for some shooting glasses with readers on the bottom and was finding plenty, but most were pretty pricey. Was at Lowe's today and stumbled upon these 3M Safety Glasses with +2.00 readers for only $13.98/pair. I don't like the wrap around style of most safety glasses/sunglasses, so these are perfect for me. The earpieces are nice and flat to easily accommodate hearing protection. I picked up 3 to store in various gear bags. They also had them in +1.50 and +2.50.

Few pics for those that are curious.

I need to get me an A2 upper!!! I can’t find one

Today I bought a wood burner to try stippling. It come out alright. Going to buy another frame (they’re cheap) and try some different ways to do the borders cleaner. But for my first time, I don’t think it’s terrible

I hate stippling but for your first try at it, it doesn't look bad at all. Good work man.

I like the shorter rail, I want to remove the 12 round sleeves and use them as flush mags and carry them that way. I hate having to adjust my grip through a reload

I decided to buy a 550C to go beside the XL650 I bought last month.

It came in today along with the Ultramount for it. Had a few minutes and assembled the Ultramounts.

Hopefully I'll have the bench in place and them mounted next weekend.

I use something similar in 1.5.

I recently found some that have the bifocal part at the top......so all you have to do is tilt your head slightly and your front sight is crystal clear. Love 'em.

She’d probably be better off just carry a piece on her and training to use it. A common theme with school shooters are they don’t handle resistance well. They bank there acts of terror on the factor of surprise and the false pretense of security that schools provide people. The second bullets fly back at them they commit suicide, surrender or they die in a gun fight.

Agreed on it being a very enjoyable & gratifying hobby.

The funny thing about the case feeder for me....at this point....is comical. I'll be going at a snail's pace....learning the machine and double-checking every step until my confidence is there. I needed it so I could go get actual measurements needed for the shelves I want to put behind it. Couldn't find the dimensions online or from Dillon....only the height.

Picked up 2 PSA AK-V mags to use in the CZ Scorpion going to see if these are any different at all in function but so far they fit tight and drop free and hold open on last round.

I thought these mags seem very well built, but I don't have CZ mags to compare them to. I bought a PSA AK-V, it's awesome, but I would like to add a CZ too. Compatible mags always tend to do that to me :D
