I have a t3x lite in 308, incredibly smooth bolt for the $ and very accurate. Great purchase IMO

 

I was calling around to see if i could find one local. No luck, so I have to order it. Wait 2 weeks, then go start the DROS. Ca can be annoying to buy guns in. Waiting to hear back if I can get a sale applied to it before I buy.

 

in 14 hours I'll be buying another glock. g19. Was looking for used but i guess new will have to do.

 

Sunday I bought my first .22 cal pellet rifle for some groundhog control in my backyard here in the city. Its a brand new 2020 Crosman Thrasher break action single shot with a nitrogen piston instead of a spring and a newly designed compensated barrel. 950fps with lead pellets and up to 1100fps with alloys. The darn thing shoots faster than my .45! Its like shooting a silenced .22LR. Straight out of the box I took three freehand shots with iron sights to get the feel of it then shot and killed the first groundhog with a headshot from 40 yards on the 4th shot. Didn't even have it out of the box for 10 minutes. I'm not sure if I'll bother mounting the 4x scope that came with it anytime soon.

 

Just bought new shotgun. Browning Citori 20 gauge. Looking forward to bird seasons.

 

4k rounds of .223. 2k Wolf Gold, 2k Wolf steel case. All 55gr. I prefer the Fiocchi 55gr (223A) but they were out of stock.

 

Bought one case of 20 gauge shotgun shells for new shotgun.

 

Strange, didn't see this before.
I'm not sure. If I where to guess maybe about 10-12lbs. But im not sure, just seems excessive on the pull.

Inspired me to order one of these today. Also due to a groundhog invasion. Crosman Venom .22 with same Nitro Piston system. Looking forward to compare with my .177 Gamo.

I seriously considered that one too. It's a great rifle with great reviews. I ultimately decided to go with the newest model with the Nitro Elite piston system and the SBD "Gold" sound suppression since sound was my major concern in the city. A little more power but a lot quieter. Either way you'll love that one too.

 

How well does the Wolf usually feed in .223? Wolf works great in my SKS but terrible in my handguns. Would be using it in a Mini-14 and an AR556.

 

Never had any issues with it.

Runs a tad hotter than PMC Bronze if that tells you anything.

 

It runs good for me. I use the Gold in an AR I shoot at 300/400 yards, and the steel case in the lightweight offhand AR, usually at 100 yards, sometimes out to 200.

 

depends how new it is, ive had one that would hang up but my other ones shoot just fine. It is a bit dirty firing

 

I run wolf gold in one AR and regularly shoot it out to 500 yards. Its not the most accurate stuff but i have no issues w/ the 8" plates at 500.

I shoot the steel case out of a different AR and ive only had one malfunction. The case got seriously stuck in the chamber but it hadn't been cleaned in a long long time and was super dirty.
