I did for a while. A non-safety version. The grip was just too thin for my hand. Good gun, just not for me. Sold it a picked up a
    P365.

Turned my Savage 11 into a varmint sniper (hopefully it still shoots!). Vortex 6-18x44, Boyd's At-One stock, ALG Defense muzzle brake. It shot .6 moa before, but the barrel had to be removed to put the brake on so hopefully it's the same or better than before.

No, the P365 has a double stack magazine so the grip fills the hand much better for me.

You can get a Shield with a manual safety or without. I've been shooting "right handed pistols" ever since I've been shooting with no issues. I don't bother switching the mag release button (on pistols where that is possible) because I'm used to having it on the left side. As far as the slide release, I rarely use it, just rack the slide instead.

Me too. I'm looking at buying a lefty/amby, and I'm so used to dropping the mag with my trigger finger instead of my thumb that I keep screwing it up. What are your thoughts on the HK vp9sk?

Yep! Doesn't really need the brake but it'll be nice to be able to see the impact lol

That savage platform is stellar. I have a 116 in .270 it's a great gun. What ammo are you shooting.

Well I have to switch to non lead because I'm in CA, so I'm going to handload some Barnes Varmint Grenades. I was shooting the Fiocchi 50gr. V-Max before though. A lot cheaper than the Hornady loaded stuff is, and if you're outside of CA it's a great varmint round.

My son has one and I've shot it many times. One of the best stock pistol triggers you will find IMO. A bit larger than the Shield you are considering.

Bed rug, ARE bed top, Weathertechs. Little goodies here and there!
Look at the Sig P320, bigger gun, but you can reverse the mag release and has different back straps you can swap out. Beretta PX4 is a good one too, feel its under rated as some articles have noted. Love both.

Used to have a Ruger SR9, that gun would shoot in anything. Did a competition in a monsoon like down poor and not one failure. The poncho couldnt keep me dry. While that may sound horrible, if you don't mind getting wet an muddy it's a blast. I recommend anyone to do this with safety in mind, of course. It's a great experience and it "CAN" happen in life. Almost regret trading it in for the Sig.

Also, look at the Walther PPQ. Very lefty friendly.

My only real gripe about any gun is the spent cartridges have a habit of goin down my shirt. Those are hot mothers. Yes, i try to be sure im wearing a shirt that is tighter to the neck, but it never fails.

I have two one on my G19 mos and one on my AR15. Great little sight for the money and easy access to the battery without removing the sight and the risk of losing zero.

Have you tried this setup yet? It takes some getting use to. I’m considering getting a G40 10mm MOS.

No I haven't, but I have a G17 sitting around that gets hardly any use, so I figured I'll see what everyone is all hyped up about with the RMRs. If I like it well enough I may swap it over to my G26 concealed carry gun.

Your info says firefighter? Sign up for Expertvoice (formerly expertcity) and you can get 40-60% off Vortex and other brands. I got all my Vortex stuff through them. Comes directly from the manufacturer. They just provide source for getting products into the hands of people who might talk about their brands. I’ve used them quite a bit. Pretty much any first responders and military can sign up for free (also random others).
