That was kind of my thinking. 3-6 months from now there will be some good sales. lol

It’s one reason I sold my .40 and picked up a 9mm to match my wife’s caliber. Didn’t have to, but I’ve scaled back to about 5 calibers for ease. Too much panic shopping every few years, this is easier to sustain.

9mm, 5.56, .308, 12g. Still debating .22 due to the versatility and cost benefit.

30-30 was the one luxury caliber kept.

I'm planning to get in the same boat. 22, 9mm, 5.56, 12g, 30-06 or 308. Not sure if I want to convert the Garand to 308 and pick up a centerfire precision rig or stick with 22lr for my wind-call itch.

Nice thing with .22lr, you can carry a ton of it... if you had to pack it around. compaired to say a .308 size caliber.

Could not find any .22 after that one school shoting back in the day.

    I have a 30/30 lever action and a 30/06 M1 Garand i would'nt mind getting rid of.

It's really my dilemma with the long-range game. I'm going to get my scope setup working on the Marlin 60 first so I can trial run it with a platform I know performs well, but a 308 precision rifle is in my blood.

I'm ready................fast loading. These things are slick, especially for the 20 & 30 rounders. Easy on the fingers for the pistol clips too.

I think in a no shit SHTF scenario, .22 would be the way to go.

For fun, ease of finding rounds, distance capability, and limiting calibers... the .308 is a good choice. Of course the same could be said for a lot of similar sized rounds.

Anyone want to buy a HSGI surgrip pistol belt? In multi cam. I’m a size 32” waist. Will got a few sizes above and below that. Pretty much brand new

Yeah, it's not ideal but it's so much more fun buying guns than buying something to put them in.

I've only been into firearms for about 3 years. Always feel like I'm playing catch up. I grabbed this 1919a4 last year. I think it would look great on my flatbed conversion.
