I've got room for a few more, especially after I relocate all my belts, holsters, slings, etc to another wall by the safe. Also, the safe is half empty now ;)

I bought a case of M193 and 450 rounds of Black Hills target ammo for $500. The Black Hills costs about $1 a round normally.

A2 to replace my MOE stock. The balance is much improved and my beard loves it, but she's getting heavy, 8lbs 11oz without a magazine. Looking forward to the MK3 lower and a good pencil barrel down the line.

Holy chit, I've done a lot already!!
So an update on my LCP. I officially received my new permit for it on Monday. I promptly called my FFL. Didn't hear anything, so emailed on Tuesday. It's Thursday and still no response. I'm saying a prayer that he's ok. Any suggestions on how to proceed? I don't want to bother him during this time, but I'm also nervous that a gun registered to me, is not under my control.

Im not sure exactly how it works in NY. I purchased a firearm online on March 28 which was a Saturday. Processing didn't start until that Monday. It is taking the company 10+ business day to ship. Id say be patient and it should be here this weekend or early next week.

The gun was purchased and delivered. It's sitting at the FFL's house. He emailed me a receipt, that I mailed to pistol permit office. I'd normally take it there, but they were closed due to Covid. I mailed it in on March 20th, and just received my new permit with the LCP on it on Monday. Normally, I call him, go to his house, finish paperwork, pay him, and leave with said handgun. Can't/won't do that if he doesn't reply. And I'm a little nervous why he hasn't replied. So MY gun is sitting at his house right now, and I have no (legal) way to get it.

I wouldn’t worry too much about it. FFL should have dedicated safe for transfers so I’m sure it’s locked away in good hands.

I went old school and went to a A1 stock recently (its about an inch shorter than a A2). No beard issues, it just feels better in the cheek and more balanced and I never collapsed the old stock anyway.

I love M1's with scout mounts, they look really cool and seem like they'd shoot well.

I had troubles finding an A1 for a price I was willing to pay, it seems like everybody wants 2x as much for an A1 setup as an A2. Once I realized that my KE MK3 will fill that need (eventually....) I figured I'd run the A2 as this lower will almost certainly get turned into a CMP EIC/NRA Highpower rig to work towards a Distinguished Rifleman award.
