Since ammo is getting short the stores are stocking anything
they can get a hold of. They had a lot of the Aquila and I have
never tried it before so grabbed a few of them.

Have never tried the Winchester white box stuff, doesn't
make for a very good range day if shooting mainly .22 if
it's failing that much. I have a Volquartsen that I am getting
close to sending in for service as it doesn't seem to like anything
I try. It likes to make the rounds into 45 degree angles quite frequently.
Only thing I haven't tried is a different magazine which is one
of the first things I should have tried. Oh well, will get it sorted
    out sooner or later.

That's really good and good to know. Will have to
to keep an eye out for some and give those a try too.
I've used a lot of the CCI and have had pretty good
    luck with them.

Will check them out one of these days, has been a long time
since I was at a Walmart. I just remembered I do have some of the
Federal Ultra Match I had picked up a while back for my
    Savage Mk 2's. o_O

I shoot a lot of CCI, (.22) I really can't remember a "Hic-Up" mostly subsonic, but have used them all.

I’ve shot a lot of 9mm WWB (a few thousand rounds) and haven’t had any issues at all. Maybe it’s the gun?

WWB 9 is a totally different animal than their rimfire stuff

Albeit a bit dirty, centerfire stuff is generally fine

It sucks when you get the sales flyer from Bass Pro/Cabela’s and pick a few things to buy then check the website and everything is sold out.
I stopped by Dunham’s about a week ago looking for som 44mag, the entire pistol ammo row was empty. Most of the shotgun ammo was gone also, but anything for rifles were in stock.
