Bought 500 rounds of 9mm this morning for a decent price, was running low. In talks with a guy about a 320 subcompact from TGT.

What’s a decent price? I can find it for about $0.38 a round. Managed to get some on back order for $0.27 a round, but it still isn’t here so I’m not getting my hopes up.

Yeah it was $18.99 for 50 rounds plus free shipping, good enough for me. Especially when these fools are paying $650+ Per 1000 on GunBroker.

I actually found some 5.56 at Academy last week. Was there when they opened up at nine, there was a line, it was a wednesday morning. they had a good bit of the 120 round boxes for $49.99, limit 3. have had no other luck in my quest for decent priced 5.56 since.........

I agree, I was in a bind, recently acquiring a pew pew that eats 5.56, I needed some ammo. Was honestly glad to find some that day. I am really not in tune with 5.56 pricing, what is a decent price per round, before all this shortage crap

~$8 a box for brass isn't too terribly outrageous IMO given current availability.

At ~.042 per round that is not that bad considering the current situation, if you can even find it at all. Academy (in NC) was selling Federal ammo cans of 420 rounds for ~150ish (not including tax) before all this so that's about ~.036 per round. I have seen 62 grain green tips going for 2-3x what they were at the end of last year.
Gotta make those shots count! :infantry:

Its going to be tough right now, if you find stuff it will be over priced. Stuff is out of stock or backordered...or nearly double what it was pre-covid
