Had to drive my wife to the Sams Club about an hour and a half away from post. Stopped by the Bass Pro in Springfield, MO and found some 9mm Herter’s range ammo. Never used it before, but at 20 bucks for 100 rounds, I’ll give it a shot. Also bought whatever was in the shelf of this light Sig JHP at 115 gr. Will give those a shot too. Hope everyone is have a solid weekend.

I had the same issue with pierced primers. I new firing pin and spring fixed it.

Herters is an old name, which Cabelas picked up and made their own. Now that Cabelas is part of Bass Pro Shop, you see the Herters brand at Bass Pro. You’ll likely find the Herters ammo to be fine; I know I have.

Ill fix it with a little lighter handload. That S&B stuff was some hot ammo, most of the primers got really flat if not backed out a little. And it was shooting 4" high at 100 yards with the rear sight at its lowest setting.

Appreciate the feedback, gonna work a box into the next Range session and see how it goes with both the wife’s 365 and my M18

Make holes plug holes. Two MFAK's from NAR, one for the battle/range belt and one for the pack. Last steps for a "full kit" will be comms, a holster that doesn't suck, and an optic appropriate for a carbine.

With how much OT I'm posting those will all be in process/purchased by the end of October.

Mostly stock with a few minor mods.
Found a deal on a light/laser combo for the night shoots this week and next. We'll see how it holds up. Seems solid for a $100 unit.

Picked up 200 9mm Winchester white box. Was a little high priced at .25rd. But I'll take it. I know it shoots dirty, but it always goes bang and never had an issue with cycling.

A buddy of mine is looking for a 365XL, does the shop you used happen to have another?

Found this little patriotic fella lonely on the used gun shelf.

Had a scope, rings, muzzle break, and bipod laying around already. How lucky was that?

I think once you go CZ, you never go back. They're a different breed of handgun. So fast and accurate. And no ammo issues. I've run it through 2 summers of action pistol league and never had a malfunction. But I do load my own. Only issue so far was some hard CCI primers but I figured that out before using the ammo in competition.
