I have the opposite problem. My AK is trapped at the FFL. Nothing to feed it either.

That is really awesome. From the YouTube videos I've seen im assuming you shot the RPG2. Did they let you load it and stuff or just pull the trigger? What was the recoil/back blast like? Not sure id want to mess around with grenades but id shoot the recoilless rifle.

Btw. RPG doesn't stand for rocket propelled grenade. It's actually considered a recoilless rifle. The RPG2 is a more primitive design using black powder. Thus capable of being reactivated more easily on the US civilian market. The RPG7 uses a more complex rocket fuel. Im no expert so I could have some of that wrong.

My deactivated RPG2 with training RKG-3 grenade.

    This and that...
Thanks for the info. Had no idea. The owner picked my friend and I up at a 711 after buying some beers and taking out quite a bit of cash at a near by bank. Never walked into a bank with Budweiser’s before. He took us out about 45min outside the city, which we were having second thoughts after awhile. But we got to the base, an old and very rundown facility. There were a few soldiers there which he seemed to be helping to support them. They were fairly old and I’m sure they had seen some shit from the 80’s. One hopped in the back with us after loading a sack full of munitions behind us. We headed out to the range and passed some tanks which he offered an hourly rate. We picked out what we wanted which was plenty. The first RPG round was a dud when I pulled the trigger which was a bit scary not knowing how they activate. He basically just placed it on my shoulder and and told me to wait till he got clear and held it up to this hill side. The second one was the money maker. No recoil, just some smoke in the face. We practiced with rocks and throwing them into this deep pit filled with muddy water before throwing the grenade in the same spot. Out taxi driver was actually showing us how. Pretty funny. We did get to pull the pin and no I didn’t use my teeth. Have video of it all and the M60 and Ak. Fun times and the people really were incredible there. Just interesting experience that makes one a bit more cautious than usual.

I heard when a friend when back there a few years later most everything was gone and expended by a group of Americans. This was post 9/11. The place really wasn’t that secure. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was used up due to that reason. Googled and found some spots though but don’t know if they actually have the surplus still. More than double the price I paid.

Added Talon grip covering to my first generation Shield. I went with the black rubber material. Cool stuff.

I looked all over around here and found 1, only 1. I'm going to shoot it tomorrow but I can tell you it lives up to the EZ name tag. The slide takes only about half the effort to work than even the regular shield, EZ as crap to load tha mag, and EZ to field strip. I put a bunch of 9mm's in my hand yesterday glock and M&P and this felt best by far, of course that is subjective. I got lucky and they had some amo reserved for gun buyers now I just need to find a source.

A G43x with frame work and a custom slide and threaded barrel found its way into my safe today as did 500 rounds of 9mm...but the 9mm is probably a turn and burn as I've got a buddy in need who has an RMR I want

Bought some new grips for my Ruger GP-100 .22 LR (10-shot), and just put them on.

About $60 on Amazon. I think they look good, and after about an hour of minor fitting with my needle file set, the fit is spot-on.
