I miss the old Sportsman's Whorehouse that used to be in Round Rock. multiple times per month I'd head over there and spend a bunch of time and money after work

picked up 500 rounds of 5.7 for my ps90 and ruger57.

side note: if you are eligible, shopmyexchange.com (AAFES) has a lot of ammo in stock with decent prices/no tax/no shipping

Yeah. Ours changed hands for a while and then Sportsmans took it back over. It’s nice to have them back. The shelves are definitely empty though...I hope they make it through these difficult times

Had to do a drug screening today in Springfield, MO. While I was down there, I stopped by the Bass Pro Flagship Store, and was able to scoop up some of their house branded 9mm range stuff. Limit of 5 per customer, so 250 rounds at maybe $.25/rd

picked up 60rds of 5.45 for the ride home from the LGS after getting my new PSAK74. first PSA AK I have ever handled, I'm definitely impressed, I honestly don't think it's lower quality than my Veprs

It's pretty nifty once you train to it it is pretty natural pointing but it still has a very short sight radius so it's not particularly accurate, on something like my CCW P365 SAS where it's inset and you don't have to worry about the sights catching on the holster or clothing it makes sense but I would not go and get one and put it on my P220 Super Match.

3 dot sights are still more accurate sights but the ring dot is easier to find at night and during the day even more so than traditional night sights with that large fiber-optic light collector loop it's pretty brilliant during the day.

Again great for a point and shoot defense weapon where you and your target / assailant are within 20 yards and closing it's "minute of man" accurate but don't expect to win any bets with it, it's not as repeatable as 3 dot either IMHO.

Still love my P365 SAS and it's small enough to appendix carry and I can finally leave my 4 inch at home.

Here's a nifty giffy that's pretty spot on representation of sight picture.

Anyone here use the Federal Syntech rounds? It's about the only ammo I can get and I've never used it before. It be nice to hear some real feedback from anyone using it.

Speaking of SiShop I just listened to an interview with their founder and I’ve never been happier to support a business that people think is much larger than it is.

One of these months I’ll have the funds to put a Turbo K or Resonator K on back order.
